Now, after years of preparation, the mysterious Knight shall lead the Legion - now numbering some five hundred strong, each armoured by hard leather and carrying an iron shortsword or spear and a wooden kite shield - from Farrow Island, and their village of Home. And in the heart of the village, training drums beat, as Knight slowly taught the once-peaceful tribes to kill for the good of mankind. On the coast, towering pines fell, their trunks used to create powerful longships. Above ground, unneeded livestock were cut down, their hides tanned into a hard, unyielding leather with which to be sewn into armour.
